The Bresy Chi-Town Shuffle has become one of the top spring tournaments in North America.  From its modest beginnings in the spring of 2003, it has grown into a tournament of international stature.  In last year’s tournament, for example, top teams from Florida, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin competed along side international competitors from Latvia, Ontario and Russia.  (Click here to view a list of last year’s competitors.)  The brain-child of Chicago Mission founder Kevin Mann, the Shuffle boasts the same high level of competition and professional organization that Mr. Mann brings to his in-season tournament, the Nike Bauer International Invite.

The Bresy Chi-Town Shuffle named in honor of former Chicago Mission coach Tim Breslin.  Tim passed away suddenly on February 9, 2005 after a short bout with cancer.  Tim’s passing stunned his family and friends, not only because he was so young and vital, but because he had been the consummate professional athlete and seemed to be responding well to his treatments.  To get a sense of the kind of man Tim Breslin was, we respectfully invite you to read A Different Kind of Star Athlete (http://www.chicagomission.com/news.htm).
